  Mark Gilbert, PE, LEED AP
Mr Gilbert serves as the business unit leader for the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) division of HDC Engineering. He provides conceptual design coordination, budgeting analysis, and administrative leadership for this division. Mark also serves as the senior mechanical engineer for the division, and provides mechanical engineering design, calculations, and project management for a wide variety of engineering projects.
Mark's 25 years of engineering experience bring a significant range of capabilities to HDC Engineering. In addition to augmenting HDC's quality building systems team, his extensive experience in infrastructure design and industrial and process engineering brings a new dimension to HDC.
As a LEED Accredited Professional since 2003, Mark is also in the forefront of the sustainable building movement. Mark was the mechanical engineer of record for one of the first LEED certified projects in Champaign, and brings a wealth of experience in energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and sustainable design to every project.
Mark has a history or working with owners, architects, users, and all levels of project administrators to develop and implement a wide range of innovative and successful projects.
