Too often, professional engineers use the excuse of "professionalism" to ignore client wishes and dictate what the engineers want and not what the client wants. HCD MEP prides itself on being receptive and results-oriented engineers. We listen to the client, and work to define and achieve the client's goals.

HDC MEP provides design services to architects, building owners, and facility managers. Our services begin during the early stages of preliminary design, working closely with the owner/manager, architect, and building users to initiate a coordinated design process that leads to efficient, comfortable, and cost effective building systems.

We believe that a building should be comfortable for the occupant, as well as cost effective for the owner. This blending of functions can only be achieved by coordinating MEP retrofits and designs with existing conditions and systems, then following through with services during construction and initial occupation of a building. Although commissioning is not typically provided by the design engineer, we belive that the design firm must take an active partnership in obtaining a properly functioning system. Our design services integrate MEP design; they do not impose it.
